While some of you went to Thailand or closer to home – Genting, to celebrate the Songkran festival last weekend, Team Advertlets went to Stage KL to watch Lawson Live in KL! The show was emceed by our local emcees Jinnyboy and Haley. Lawson is famous for their singles “When She Was Mine”, “Taking Over Me”, and their most recent “Standing In The Dark” which was released on Oct 14 last year. Band members include Andy Brown (acoustic guitar and lead vocals), Ryan Fletcher (bass guitar and backing vocals), Joel Peat (lead guitar and backing vocals) and Adam Pitts (drums). Their debut album entitled Chapman Square, was released on Oct 22, last year and have reached number four in the independent music charts.
Lawson did play quite a range of songs that night! Besides their own songs, they also covered Maroon 5′s Moves Like Jagger, pasisionate rock version Sweedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child”.

KIDCHANSTUDIO was the official photographers for the Advertlets Bloggers Paintball Tournament at the Astaka Field. The event was organized by Advertlets- the Asian weblog advertising network recently held as part of their community program. Many bloggers turn up armed (no pun intended) with much enthusiasm and went home feeling like a champion. With a event tagline of “don’t start blogwars…shoot bloggers in real life!†it just can’t go wrong. Jason of KIDCHANSTUDIO was snapping away.
Note to Bloggers: Feel free to take any of the Advertlets Bloggers Tournament to use in your blog. But please make sure a hyperlink credit mention to KIDCHANSTUDIO is made . EG: Photo by KIDCHANSTUDIO, with a link to this page on KIDCHANSTUDIO.com

In case you don’t know what Paintball is: Paintball is a game in which players eliminate opponents by hitting them with pellets containing paint (referred to as a “paintball”) usually shot from a carbon dioxide or compressed-gas powered paintball gun (or marker).
It’s not actually as painful as it sounds – it’s not just for the guys – plenty of girls play paintball too! Paintball requires stamina, team work, strategy and psychology in order to win a game, and it’s a whole lot of fun! Those that play online games will notice that has its similiarities to Counter-Strike
