First off, Mother’s Day is the second Sunday of May – 13th May in case some of you have forgotten Interesting trivia – Malaysia celebrates Mother’s Day the same day as Australia, China, New Zealand, the United States and more, but people in Ireland, Nigeria and the United Kingdom celebrate it on the fourth Sunday of Lent (Either April 3/March 18, or March 10th)
So are you looking for a way to give back to the those ladies who have given us so much? Along from those small things such as gifts, quality time, and words of affirmation. There is so much more we can do to actually show appreciation to those who have gone before us. So without further a do, here is a little something that Unicef has set up to pay tribute to mothers for their timeless contributions and love towards raising their little ones.
So often we overlook what they’ve done for us which could very well be the most important thing of all.
Some 350,000 women and girls die from pregnancy and childbirth complications each year. As a result, 10 million mothers are lost per year on average. To show our support, join #uniicef4MOMS. Celebrate mothers, and honor motherhood. Join UNICEF, spread the love, and show you care!
Why stop there. Let’s go above and beyond to give what we can or ought to give of ourselves.
