This is the highlight of the show, the Superior Giant Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Assorted Meat and Chef’s Special Savoury Sauce. Priced at RM188++ each, is a massive bear-worthy dish weighting at 3kg’s. This will easily feed 10 – 16 people depending on how much they love rice dumplings. Of course, no one is expecting you to buy one and keep it in your fridge for the next year, you can have them by the slice like this..

SMURF-TASTIC! SMURFIN’ DAY!

Little did you know that the 25th of June is Global Smurf day (Say Whaa?). Yes, it’s global smurf day, and if you were a little extremist about celebrating the smurfy way of life, you’d be more willing to paint yourself blue and trot around town in white pants and a funny hat.

But for the rest of us normal people (who want to celebrate Global Smurf day) there’ll be a Movie Carnival soon, and here are the details:

Easter and Mother’s Day with The Atrium Cafe, Sunway Hotel and Resort.

Mothers are the kindest, most beautiful person in the world. Don’t you all agree? We from Advertlets definitely believe so. We were glad to be invited to join in their Easter/ Mother’s day buffet at The Atrium Cafe, Sunway Pyramid Tower Hotel. The place was beautifully decorated with white bunnies and chocolate easter eggs to suit the mood. It was definitely the place to bring your mothers to a great meal at only a reasonable price of RM 55++ for adults and RM 27.50++ for children regardless the occasion just to treat her to something nice.

Brigette Liberty Yu, our model/ emcee/ blogger was beyond delirious when she was on an Easter sugar rush the moment she saw the dessert buffet section. There wasn’t only a wide variety of desserts to choose from, it was rated pretty well by most of our bloggers. Even our famous food blogger Rebecca Saw, couldn’t resist the temptation and proclaimed that their bread and pudding was perfectly well made.

Mike Yip, our top photographer/ blogger was constantly scouring the whole place for every single dish available at the Atrium. He was happy with the pricing and definitely the quality of food served. As a huge meat eater, he started out with the meat section. And he proclaimed his liking towards how the meat was served perfectly with the peanut gravy in his blog.

Photographer/Event blogger, XiangCool shared about his love for the Hong Kong Wantan Noodle which he wouldn’t even mind paying just to have that dish as a single meal. With the perfect mixture of oyster sauce and soy sauce with dumplings, XiangCool’s tastebuds couldn’t resist further.

The small sized big eater, food blogger, Baby Sumo was eating her heart out. She was exercising her stomach when she happily indulged in a large selection of scrumptious mains such as Pan Fried Salmon Fillet with Citrus Butter Sauce, Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Mushroom Gravy, Ayam Panggang Kuah Lemak, Chicken Biryani with Cashewnuts, Stewed Beancurd Ribbon with Shimeji Mushroom and Grilled Lamb Cutlet with Herb Crust and Rosemary.

Even our photographer blogger, AzrinAziz was satisfied with the food served. His favorite, the pasta section. He claimed that their sauce is simply perfectly well done. It was The Atrium’s specialty after XiangCool’s favourite Hong Kong Wantan Noodle.

So if you are looking for a reasonably priced buffet, be sure to put The Atrium Cafe, Sunway Hotel and Resort at the top of your list. Not only is it reasonably priced, its Lunch Buffet time is from 12pm- 4.30pm daily. That means, you get more time to eat more! The Atrium serves buffet daily and based on our blogger’s feedback, we assure  you that this buffet is definitely worth every penny you spend.

Sandsculpting with Holiday Villa!

Some of our lucky bloggers from Advertlets were given a chance to have a short getaway from the hectic lifestyle back here in KL and to join Holiday Villa Resorts and Spa Cherating for some sand action last Sunday ! It was their 21st Annual Sandsculpting competition, a year-long anticipated showdown between sandsculpting fanatics out there! This year’s theme for the competition is Animal World. Participants are supposed to come up with the most creative sandsculpting design of the animals. Our bloggers from Advertlets had tons of fun trying their best sculpting and building their desired animal. Here are some of the pictures:
