Aegis Media Malaysia Sdn Bhd is trying to raise RM 1 million for the Japan relief efforts through the new online bidding website, weLovejapan.my.

Aegis Media has joined forces with online portal “I LOVE LABELS” whereby Malaysians over the age of 18 years are able to donate by way of buying bids online. Once registered, members will have the opportunity to bid for an item of their choice and in return donate the monies to the Japan relief fund. This is a new platform for the younger generation to pursue their love for tech and gadgets or even fashion and at the same time, channel their money into better use by helping other people in need. It is really easy to participate. The steps are listed below:

Galactic Laser gives BACK!

GALACTIC LASER MID VALLEY is organising a Fundraising event this coming Sunday, 10 April 2011 in hopes to help for the relief and recovery operations in Japan, after the devastating mega-disaster Tsunami has hit earlier last month. This very day is dedicated for this purpose and players on this day will get to have fun and best of all, be a part of this worthy cause. Galactic Laser will contribute the entire day’s takings directly to MIYAGI-KEN SAIGAI TAISAKU HONBU (MIYAGI PREFECTURE DISASTER RECOVERY HQ)
So, remember to head on over to Galactic Laser Mid Valley this Sunday. Not only simply just to have fun with your friends as an imaginary hero in a sci-fi world, but also know that while you are doing that, you are a real life hero, helping the people in need across the world, with every penny you spent.

Naturel Bento Workshop at Bayan Indah with Rohani Jelani.

A couple of months before, Advertlets had join forces with Lam Soon edible oils Sdn Bhd in organising “Kids Eat Right with Naturel Bento”, a bento workshop, with Rohani Jelani;  food consultant and founder of Bayan Indah, who had more than 20 years of experience in writing recipes for publications and teaching cooking classes and Indra Balaratnam, consultant dietitian.  Nine lucky mummy bloggers were chosen to join this workshop which encourages mothers to make hassle-free healthy bentos for their children at Bayan Indah Culinary Retreat, KL.

Lam Soon edible oils Sdn Bhd, producer of Naturel oil joined forces with famous Rohani Jelani, food consultant and founder of Bayan Indah, who had more than 20 years of experience in writing recipes for publications and teaching cooking classes and Indra Balaratnam, consultant dietitian to organize “Kids Eat Right with Naturel Bento”, a bento workshop for 9 lucky mummy bloggers to encourage mothers to make hassle-free bentos for their children to eat and grow healthily last Tuesday at Bayan Indah Culinary Retreat, KL.

Mothers were first taught about the importance of a balanced diet to ensure a healthy growth of their children by Indra Balaratnam. Indra also shared her experiences she had with her own children and tips that the mothers can pick up to overcome children’s food picking attitude. Rohani Jelani then, started sharing recipes with the mothers to making beautiful, colourful and healthy bentos.

Lam Soon hope to encourage healthy eating habits by practicing the use of  healthy oil, Naturel and also to encourage mothers to cook with their children which will be a bonding activity for mother and child.
