Farewell 2009, Hello 2010! Advertlets Blogger Events Recap for 2009!
2009 was an awesome year, and we had more gatherings than ever! Here’s a recap of all the fun we had over the year 2009, in reverse chronology:
December 2009 - Hangout With Alamanda: Advertlets Bloggers Explore Putrajaya with Alamanda Putrajaya!
Check out the video below. It was an amazing day out - starting off with breakfast at Old Town White Coffee, rock climbing at Putrajaya Challenge Park, lunch at Pullman Hotel Putrajaya, then water skiing at Putrajaya Ski, and finally, a screening of Avatar at GSC Alamanda Putrajaya!
December 2009 - Zombieland Screening!
Advertlets had a special screening of Zombieland for invited bloggers. Check out the video below, shot by UnseenTV.
October 2009 - Cheerio Day / Ellie Chee’s Birthday!
Ellie Chee’s 21st birthday was made VERY special indeed! Organized by Advertlets and sponsored by Asian Heritage Row, selected bloggers got to try out the new menu at Bluegrass Cafe, followed by club night out at the exclusive Heritage Mansion!

August 2009 - Malaysian Bloggers Evening / Josh Lim’s Birthday!
A Malaysian Bloggers Evening was held at Envie Club, Changkat Bukit Bintang. The event, attended by over 100 bloggers, featured great music, free flow of beer, finger food and cocktails, was emceed by Julie Hoi and Qi of the 8TV TV Series “Blogger Boy”, and also was the birthday of Josh Lim, founder of Advertlets!
August 2009 - Ruumz Most Wanted Finale
July 2009 - Advertlets Screening of The Proposal
Advertlets held a screening of “The Proposal” in the newly opened GSC Tropicana Mall!
June 2009 - PJ Challenge Bloggers Karnival
The PJ Challenge Bloggers Karnival, sponsored by Kaspersky was attended by over 200 bloggers, young and old and was held in Jaya 33, Petaling Jaya as part of the annual PJ Challenge. A Blog 101 session was held for newbie bloggers to learn about blogging, as well, as a Blog 411 session where celebrity bloggers shared their experiences on diverse topics. The event featured top Advertlets bloggers such as Amanda Choe, Ellie Chee, Jason Goh, Rames as well as special guests Kenny Sia and Niki Cheong. Advertlets was the co-organizer for the event.
May 2009 - Angels & Demons Movie Screening
Advertlets had a screening of Angels & Demons, one of the biggest movies of the year at Cineleisure Damansara!
May 2009 - Adverlets Day Out With Genting!

Advertlets Bloggers went for the Krispy Kreme media launch and were one of the first in Malaysia to taste their delicious original glazed and other donuts at the launch of their flagship store in Berjaya Times Square

Advertlets Bloggers headed out for a great night out to celebrate Zouk’s 5th Anniversary!
