Starbucks, Thanks For The Coffee. Kuching, Thanks For The Memories!

This post should have been out sooner, but there’s been a lot to do since I’ve been back. Anyway, as per the title: Kuching rocked! I can’t wait to go there again
Thanks for taking me around, helping me find a hotel, for coffee, for dinner, bowling, driving around Kuching late at night and everything! It was my first trip to East Malaysia, and hopefully the first of many more! Hope you had as much fun as I did. Thanks especially to Starbucks Coffee also for sponsoring the gathering and organizing the logistics! (I owe you a coffee, Jone - though I understand if you want something else, haha.). And of course to Irene and Jimmy, who did a great job planning and putting the event together! CatsCity Clique 2007 sponsored by Advertlets was a success, thanks to all of you who showed up too. I had a great time meeting each and every one of you, and I hope to be able to stay longer the next time, and find out more about the other side of Malaysia more. Next stop…Sabah perhaps?
Anyway, just to those that couldn’t make it…just to show you what you missed: You can view a compilation of more than 260 pictures at: Catscity Clique @ Starbucks, Kuching International Airport. Pictures are from the various blogs, each have the individual urls in the description.
And…the really long list…thank you to all of you for coming!

[…] Offline networking between personal bloggers through cafĂ© gatherings like the Catscity Clique @ Starbucks held by Advertlets can increase your number of visitors and linkbacks. When the bloggers who attended the gathering blogged about it, visitors will click through and visit the blogs of all the bloggers who attended it and eventually, this will help them realize good personal blogs and the readership base of these blogs will increase. […] While it’s true that the majority of Malaysia’s blogging “scene” is in the Klang Valley and in English, but we’ve always been pleasantly surprised at community and people as a whole that make up the Malaysian blogging scene. Advertlets has always recognized the diversity of the Malaysian blogosphere, which is why we were happy to sponsor such as Rumpun (a gathering for Malay language bloggers), as well as Mybloggercon 1027 (a gathering for Chinese language bloggers) and of course, not forgetting our East Malaysian friends in Kuching and Miri.
