Load Time of Advertlets Code
A few of bloggers have written to us asking why their blogs are loading slowly, in some cases even twice as slowly as before. Rest assured, the problem is not with your Advertlets code, but it may be caused by other online advertising services or blog widgets (eg flash clocks, virtual pets) you have installed. We have recently upgraded our server, and your Advertlets ads should display in less than half a second to a second on average. Please note that generally, code on websites load in sequence – so if you have a lot of other items before your Advertlets code in the HTML, those other items will have to be loaded before your Advertlets Code can load.
To determine what is causing the slowdown, you can test your blog load time using tools such as the Pingdom.com Full Page Test. Just type in your blog url, press Enter, and you can have a breakdown of how long each item takes to load. Make sure you select “organize results by heirachy” to sort out results by domain. We have tested it with several blogs within our network ourselves, and found that Advertlets code only uses one connection from one domain, and is quite fast to load. You can see what a blogger has found here, at AdesBlog.com, where he compares the load time of Advertlets compared to other blog advertising services.
Tip: To make Advertlets load even faster, you can use the “lite” version of the Sidebar Ad, if you do not require the usage of the Demographics Poll anymore.
yep… your ads loads faster than others. no problem from my site
