RoomsDB.net Reviews - Budget Increased!

You might have read the earlier posting on the RoomsDB.net reviews. Some of you felt SGD12 was too low. We’re always looking to give better earning opportunities to bloggers, so upon discussion with the Advertiser, we have increased the budget to SGD22. Hurry - it is now 5 slots instead of 10, and judging from our previous review opportunities, we expect them to be snapped up pretty soon.

Please read this posting for more details on the RoomsDB reviews (Singaporeans only). Thanks!

Advertlets/StarCeleb Blogvertorial Opportunity Extended to 50 More Bloggers!

StarCeleb is a new reality show hosted by celebrity model & actor Daniel Tan and celebrity model May Wan. As some of you might know, we previously announced an opportunity for 50 bloggers to write a blogvertorial on StarCeleb.tv - to promote their upcoming auditions.

All 50 slots for that opportunity were taken. However, the last round of the auditions is 30th June 2007 - 1st July 2007, and as the Advertiser wishes to attract as many people as possible to the auditions, so this opportunity has been extended to another 50 bloggers! All posts must be submitted before the 1st of July 2007…hurry. You have only 4 days :)

Advertlets Says: Please Meet Our Handsome Singaporean Advertiser!

That’s Sebastian. Sebastian is German, however, he’s was an ex-NUS student, and at some point, was very frustrated why he could not find accomodation easily in Singapore. That’s why he created RoomsDB.net!

Sebastian contacted us a few days ago as he wished to promote his site, RoomsDB on Advertlets, to Singaporeans. We’ve matched him with some great Singaporean bloggers, and here are the results:

From Diana “MoleMole” Lim!

This Handsome Guy is not my boyfriend… (though I seriously wish he were).
Sebastian, a German, is an ex NUS student. So being a foreign student, naturally the first thing you would do when you step into Alien land is to find a place to put all your luggages, a place to sleep, eat, cry and call *second home sweet home*.

But our handsome friend here had difficulty finding a suitable place here in Singapore because there was not enough information on the internet. Internet is almost a necessity. So he started this project all by himself and created…

From “IZ Reloaded”

My pal Joe told me yesterday that he and his girlfriend are currently looking for a new place to stay. They would like to rent a room, preferably a master bedroom. So he has been busy these few days looking through the classifieds in the newspapers and websites.

Me being the good pal that I am, decided to help him out. Luckily I came across a new website which makes room rental for Singaporeans real easy, so I told him to take a look at the site. “RoomsDB? Never heard of it,” he replied. I said why don’t he give it a try - he will thank me for it, I assured him…

From “FingersDontFing!” Faddy

I recall quite some time back, a friend of mine who’s a Malaysian studying in Singapore griped about how he found it hard to find room rental here in our country. According to him, classifieds and ads are rather sporadic, and agencies which assist in getting rooms usually charge a high fee for the service.

Sebastian, the ehem, good looking (picture under the cut) sole developer and “team” behind the non-commercial http://singapore.roomsdb.net, too faced a similar issue when he was an NUS student here a few years back. However, unlike my friend, he decided to create a change by providing a solution at his own cost, aiding throngs of others who faced the same situation…
