Snippets of the Budderfly

Budderfly is a mispelled word from butterfly which I think it is one of the overrated words in the blogsphere. I started my first blog – www.xanga.com/nataliefOngjean, when I was still busy studying for PMR. There are some times that I will drop by my old blog and laugh at myself because of the way I write and spelled words, especially. Then, using budderflyx as a nickname, I am a proud owner of my blog – budderfly, not butterfly. My current blog started on the same day I celebrated my sweet 16th birthday.

Febuary Baby

Natalie Fong Jean is the real deal behind budderflyx. Having only two chinese character for her chinese name, I was always mistaken for being a mixed parentage but I am a pure chinese though. Born as an aquarius, I am most likely to be stubborn, sociable, independent, and very unpredictable. Maybe one more, I am extremely vain! I just took out my braces recently and mom was making so much noise because it costed her 5k. LOL!

Sohby

Besides my family, four cats, the only one person on earth who plays the mad part of my life is none other than Melvin. Of course, readers and bloggers only recognize him as sohby! Together we just had our 1st year annivesary on the 1st of July. Congrats to us! (:

Facinations

Most people think that I am a typical bimbotic girl, no seriously. There are times where I felt motivated by remarks others gave me. I started writing music when I learnt to play some musical instruments, but I was having a tough time learning music notes then. Mainly because I could not read the music notes. Now, I only write songs and play the piano and guitar by ear. Learning that I have the talent to compose songs, I have a few demo tracks (Melodic Heartbeat & Star) that was made in the year of 2007 with notable local DJ Ganjaguru, who was then a big time inspiration to me.

Cooking is another part time hobby to spend time with sohby in the kitchen, and of course to improve myself so that my future mother in-law would be impressed. LOL! Remembered the first time that I cooked was the famous Maggi Mee when I was six. Till now, everyone loves my dark soy sauce chicken and beef lagsana. Yums!

Futhermore, I love to give handmade presents to love ones! All the cutting, sewing, pasting, arranging to created a wonderful masterpiece gives me satisfaction! Though the shape that I am expert in cutting is the heart.

Persuing Dreams

Many years back then, I though I wanna be a famous female DJ. Things started to change but not much, I still wanna be famous. LOL! Right after finishing form 5, I went straight for tertiary educaton at Taylor’s College Petaling Jaya. Foundation in Mass Communication became my first and last choice as I wanted to be in the media line.

On the side, I have part time jobs that is indirectly helping me to have some shortcuts to my dreams. I started modelling when I was 16, it was just a part time job! It is fun staring at youself on the newspaper and magazines. At the year 2006, I joined Divaproduction as a talent. So far, I have one paegent title in hand – Miss Hypertune 07/08 1st runner up with three subtitles!
