Putting the ‘bling’ in ‘blogging’

Diana Lim – molemole.sg

Diana ‘molemole’ Lim says…

Because I so desperately want Dear Josh to bring me around when I pop by KL again, so here goes…

I graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Legal Studies. But because I’m not an ELITE, local Universities find it impossible to accept me. But of COURSE I’m still good la.. enough to get a place in one of the then 12 listed top Universities in UK as required by the Law Society.

Yea I know my blog certainly doesn’t sound like I actually read Law, using mainly terok Singlish and Hokkien. Not that I cannot type in perfect English, I can. It was after the trip to UK, I found out that I’m deeply in love with Singapore… in love with Singlish! Its HOME, where my heart belongs!!!

Now my ambition is to become a Deputy Public Prosecutor. Inspired by the Legendary Justice Bao Qing Tian, call me a Kay Poh but I will, as if possessed by this great drowning sense of righteousness, not hesitate to stand up in the name of Justice (even though I risk getting my beautiful face mutilated).

BUT, I couldn’t finish my degree because of a financial crunch which sort of never recovered back at home. Still, securing a place in the University of
Sheffield(UK) was one of the biggest accomplishment in my life. I will not reject any sponsors now LOL!!! ANyone?

So, what’s her blog about?

I am a mommy of 2 beautiful children now(not shotgun wokay), which many can still choose to disbelieve. My life revolves around them, and as if somewhat influenced by their childish nature, I have become a child as well.

When I started blogging, I knew that blogs will outlive a blogger’s life. So even when I’m no longer in existence, my children and grandchildren or even great grandchildren will read about me. And I thought, this would be the perfect type of diary to log all the chronicles of my life. My blog is like my pair of eyes, looking at this world. There is so much to be discovered, be seen and be understood.

So when I flip the pages back, which I always do, I will be reminded of the various experiences which certainly makes my day a cheery one, like how I made many friends and strangers from all over the world smiled. Also, I really treasure the friendships I made through blogging, especially my CSI, Forensic Scientist friend from Chile who constantly encouraged and supported me and my blog even though he couldn’t understand English and I couldn’t understand Spanish(communication was in gibberish language).

*WA DIDN’T KNOW I TYPED SO MUCH ALREADY*

and in closing…

Now I want to thank you Josh for giving me this chance to be your featured blogger SINCERELY. I know I cannot compare to that Joyce Wong wa kao 2k hits everyday. I started out this blog in silence and my friends… less than 5 leh. I’m pathetic, bo peng you one. So when I see more than 100 loyal and unique visitors/strangers at my blog everyday.. I’m already so proud.
HAHAHAHAHA

in closing, we would like to share with you a picture of MoleMole, before and after pregnancy – you can ask her about her weight loss secrets on her blog (ps: she looks like the left side now)…
